New strain of corona virus found in eight European countries: WHO

  A new strain of corona virus has been found in eight European countries.
 
This was reported by Hans Klose, Regional Director for Europe at the World Health Organization (WHO).
  
He tweeted last night: "The WHO's European Center has detected a new strain of corona virus 202012/01 in eight countries on the continent.  

Existing security measures such as social distance, mask cover support bubbles must be kept.  

He said Corona's new strain was spreading among young people against the old virus.  "Vigilance is important," he added.  Research is underway to explain its effects. ”

 Last week, a new strain of the corona virus was discovered in the UK, spreading 70% faster than the old virus.
