Four Injured in Minibus Mishap on Awantipora Bypass

Awantipora, Apr 19, CNS: At least four people sustained injuries after a minibus met with an accident near Gooripora Padgampora in the Awantipora area on Saturday, officials said.
The incident occurred when the vehicle reportedly lost control and rammed into a divider along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at the Awantipora bypass.

Following the crash, all four injured passengers were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Among them, one person identified as Sumitra, a resident of Chhattisgarh, was later shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for advanced care.

The other injured have been identified as Mukesh Kumar from Akhnoor in Jammu, Vikas, son of Narinder Singh, also from Jammu, and Hari Shankar from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.

Police have registered a case and are looking into the circumstances that led to the accident. (CNS)
