Police in Srinagar Seeks Public Assistance in Identification of Unidentified Male Dead Body

*anuary 27:* ```Police in Srinagar are seeking the assistance of the general public in identifying an unidentified male dead body recovered following a road accident.

Police received information through reliable sources that a road accident had occurred during the intervening night of 25/26 January 2026 at Tangan Crossing near Sitara Marbal. Acting on the information, a police party from Police Station Nowgam was immediately deputed to the spot, where the dead body was recovered. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 14/2026 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Nowgam, and investigation has been taken up.
